Community Guidelines

Team Blue Fever is proud of our diverse community and appreciate your help in ensuring everyone at Blue Fever App feels safe and welcome, regardless of culture, age or beliefs. We encourage you to freely express and be any version of yourself—without hurting others or putting yourself in danger.

We have a zero-tolerance policy for trolling, hate, cyberbullying, violence, spamming and threats. Team Blue Fever will, at our discretion, make private any posts that have inappropriate language, presumed contact, and/or personal information of users or another person. In addition, any users who fail to comply with our community guidelines may be immediately removed, without notice.

Other things to keep in mind:

  • Post only your own words, never copying text from elsewhere on the internet. Follow the law.

  • Avoid telling others how to take action to solve their problems. We never know the full extent of someone’s situation from their posts, nor how someone might interpret your guidance.

  • For safety reasons, we highly discourage users from making multiple Blue Fever App accounts.

  • We want to make sure you’re able to release whatever you’re feeling, but please privately publish any post that may trigger others.

  • We prohibit promoting, distributing, or sharing pornographic content. We also don’t allow commercial activities that relate to pornography or sexual interactions (whether online or offline).

  • We prohibit any activity that involves discussion or sexual exploitation or abuse of a minor, including sharing child sexual exploitation or abuse imagery, grooming, or sexual extortion (sextortion).  We report all instances of child sexual exploitation to authorities, including attempts to engage in such conduct. Never post, save, send, forward, distribute, or ask for nude or sexually explicit content involving anyone under the age of 18 (this includes sending or saving such images of yourself).

  • All users must comply with COPPA rules. Failure to comply will result in removal from the platform.

  • TW: Help us create a truly supportive and safe environment by not glorifying self-injury related to eating disorders, cutting or any other type of self-injury. Please visit our Crisis Resources section if you or someone you know is in need of help.

IMPORTANT: In order to ensure the safety of all community members using the Blue Fever app, we have a zero-tolerance policy for publicly sharing any personal information, including, but not limited to first + last names, phone number, other apps’ usernames, emails, mailing address, location-identifying information (e.g. school name).
