User Acquisition Manager
We’re looking for a leader to drive growth at a fast-paced internet tech startup (role is not focused on growth of revenue). Areas of expertise should be Behavior Psychology, Data & Analytics, A/B Testing, and Funnel Marketing across paid Facebook ads/media buying and organic growth. Need to have grown consumer web sign ups and apps before, need to have 3-5 years of experience. REQUIRED: You have already worked in growth in at least one consumer internet tech company.
Need to have experience driving user acquisition at an early stage startup (~200k-1 million users)
Extreme focus on KPI’s- user growth leading to sustainable product engagement
Be able to execute on-the-ground tasks while thinking strategically about what the company’s growth needs to look like next
Analyze KPI’s to provide recommendations on potential areas of growth and new opportunities as well as suggesting new KPI’s to be monitored
Report weekly (and sometimes daily) on growth and product data
Management & Hiring:
Grow a small team around you who can execute on the ground tasks with efficiency and effectiveness
Oversee day to day relationships and management of digital performance agencies and other partners and vendors that match to the above responsibilities
Educate the greater marketing and branding teams on best practices
Facebook Business Manager - you will be responsible for managing Facebook/Instagram Ads
Search Engine Marketing (SEM) and SEO
Social Media Advertising
Programmatic Media Buying
Campaigns and tactics optimized for a mobile-first world
Partner with co-founder/Head of Marketing in the development of paid budgets by business unit
Responsible for the daily management of each budget
Establish ROI benchmarks and overall performance metrics
Build, execute and optimize all performance campaigns including campaigns you run directly as an individual contributor
Partner cross-functionally with the product and marketing teams to create cohesive plans that maximize partnerships to drive traffic and hit acquisition goals.
Devise areas of experimentation that may influence product decisions
Consistently seek out improvements in internal reporting and monitoring with a goal of increasing efficiency, accuracy and relevancy of the product
Stay up to date with best practices, new technology, and relevant competitor and data studies information that may provide useful new partners or strategy improvements
Identify and test new ad tech partners as warranted
